Family Law

I offer professional consultation and representation in all Family Law matters. I obtained a certification from the Barlaw of GRENOBLE, which is granted based on the number of years of practice, the percentage of cases handled in the area of Family Law, and an oral exam with a judge, a law professor and a lawyer expert in Family Law.

Areas of practice in international case:

• Divorce: In France, there are four different types of divorces:
  - Uncontested divorce (Joint request)
  - Accepted divorce (Divorce based on acceptation without an agreement on the consequences)
  - Request on the basis of breach of the communal life during a period of two or more years (Divorce based on definitive alteration of the marriage)
  - Divorce for fault
• Property settlement, marital property and debt division;
• Marriage annulment (The judicial determination of the nullity of a marriage for causes existing at the time of the marriage solemnization);
• Civil union, domestic partnership, Common Law marriage (dissolution, action for partition, PACS);
• Conflicts over the exercise of parental authority (loss of parental authority, child custody and residence, visitation rights, suspension, termination);
• Legal separation (“Separation from bed and board:” the spouses remain married but they live apart);
• Adoption;
• Name change;
• Child protective services and educational measures ordered by juvenile courts;
• Alimony (Child support, spousal support, parental support);
• Filiation (legitimation proceedings, paternity action, challenging paternity).

Civil Litigation

I also graduated in criminal science and private law (D.E.A., Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies). I provide legal representation to individuals in different areas of Tort law.
